Prices
My prices are based on an estimate of how long it takes me to make a piece. Each amount listed is a base figure, and could change depending on the complexity of the illustration. If you have an amount in mind, we can figure out what works best for you!Prices are in USD.
sketches
Prices have a broad wingspan here, from a single figure/portrait ($15-40), to a page of sketches ($40-80), to a board sequence. (please note: a storyboard sequence can be a particularly demanding and complicated process, affecting price and availability. If you're curious about the process before committing, feel free to ask!)PSA: storyboard commissions are currently on hold; however, if you are interested, I'm open to seeing if smaller sequences are doable.

A similar price can apply to a piece with a single full-body figure in a full background, and two half-bodied (or more, and simpler) figures in a full background.
$450+ ~ character sheet
Mix and match the elements of a concept sheet for your character; can include a front view, back view, alternate outfit, portrait, or props. The price will vary depending on the complexity and number of elements. I’ll format it in a nice landscape that would fit right into an art book, with any captions or lore blurbs you like.
Terms
general terms
▪️ 1-3 slots open per month; contact me, preferably through Instagam, to be added to the roster. Please include the type of commission you're looking for in your initial message!
▪️ you can post your commission anywhere you like, with proper credit to me
▪️ I can post, or not post, any commissions on my social media platforms unless you request it be kept private
▪️ payment is in USD, through PayPal Friends & Family - otherwise an additional 3% applies
▪️ no refunds
▪️ I reserve the right to deny a commission for any reason, or to terminate one in progress if I become uncomfortable with the client or subject matter
▪️ I retain copyright and authorship of the artwork; however, I do not claim ownership of any of the subject matter
▪️ my work is NOT to be resold by you, as I retain copyright; it is not to be used in NFTs, blockchain technology, or any future inventions in the space. My work is not to be fed into AI-based technology for machine learning of any kind.
how we do it:
1 - concept and price decision2 - under $50, payment is in full up-front. $50 and over, 50% is paid before I start.3 - for bigger pieces, sketch is sent to approve things like pose and elements of background.4 - lineart/underpainting sent; can request one change for free, additional changes cost more depending on complexity.5 - painting time, and a finished and watermarked version will be sent to you next. At this point, the second 50% of payment is sent, and then a full-resolution, watermark-free digital copy is sent
When considering the time I spend on each piece (and thus the price), the time spent talking ideas and discussing details of your piece is included. So, to make sure I can spend as much as possible on drawing and painting, please come with a solid idea of what you’d like! Come with the idea as well as references/moodboards.
If you have an original character that you’d like illustrated, or you’re commissioning for a fandom with which I am not familiar, please come with plenty of references!
Include info of any detail, big or small, that is important to your character (or potentially the background). The more info I have beforehand, the less time I need to spend doing my own research or contacting you for more, and the more time I can spend on your piece! Every little detail counts in making your piece the best it can be; feel very free to infodump about your OC’s beguiling little backstories 💜

While I don’t draw ship art in my personal work, I am open to considering it for you. Keep in mind that any ship art is kept mild, not spicy, and remember that I reserve the right to deny a commission for any reason; regarding ships, this would be because I am not comfortable representing it in my work. When in doubt, ask, and please respect my decision to be careful above all, as my priority for my work is professionalism.
